MOODY | DESERT 01-02 (40x60 Ltd. Edition).

Judean Desert. Israel. march 2020.

… walking through this vast barren rock desert, its many wadis, ravines, hills and natural terraces, you are completely on your own. one thing to always look out for in the desert is the weather. heavy rainfall, even if it happens a few kms away, can lead to deadly flash floods rushing down the wadis and canyons.

just in time for a heavy rainstorm to hit, i found shelter at a beautiful bedouin camp, a green oasis in the middle of the judean desert, waiting for the rain to pass. the scene opening up afterwards was surreal. while the sky was still showing off its deepest post-rain blue, the nearby hills were already brightly illuminated by the evening sun – as if nature was torn in between different moods.

I have chosen CUSTOM-BUILT Oat floater frames to complement the colors of the two pictures. The pictures are printed on high-quality fine art paper (KOH-I-NOOR, 300G/M2) and mounted on a 3mm aluminium dibond backing. they are matt sealed and the frames are equipped with hanging hardware, making them ready to put on the wall straightaway.

THIS EDITION IS COMPRISED of A LIMITED NUMBER OF 5 Pairs, EACH ONE BEING NUMBERED, SIGNED AND ACCOMPANIED BY A LITTLE STORYBOOK.
